Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support the Buyer in all merchandising activities, including sourcing, product development, pricing, and assortment planning. You will help forecast order quantities and participate in open‑to‑buy processes, ensuring market responsiveness and inventory alignment.

You will attend vendor meetings, document decisions, and coordinate with Planners, Inventory Analysts and Visual Merchandising to execute assortments and in‑store presentations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of assortment development and product pricing.
• Ability to analyze sales trends and forecast quantities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer on all aspects of merchandising activities.
• Source and develop product; set assortments and SKUs.
• Forecast order quantities and participate in open‑to‑buy discussions.
• Attend vendor meetings; take notes and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with Planning, Inventory and Visual Merchandising teams.
• Prepare weekly and department reports; support marketing launches.
