Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a jewelry CAD team in a jewelry or luxury accessories environment.
• Extensive proficiency in CAD software for jewelry design (RhinoGold, MatrixGold) as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the jewelry CAD team to develop accurate 3D models, renderings, and technical specifications for new collections and custom designs

Duties

• Lead and manage the jewelry CAD team to develop accurate 3D models, renderings, and technical specifications for new collections and custom designs
• Collaborate closely with designers, gemologists, and production teams to ensure seamless communication of design intent and technical feasibility
• Oversee the creation of detailed CAD files using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and specialized CAD programs tailored for jewelry design
• Maintain high standards of quality control by reviewing all CAD outputs for accuracy, craftsmanship, and manufacturability
• Implement best practices in CAD workflows, including version control, file organization, and process optimization to enhance productivity
• Stay current with emerging trends in jewelry design technology, including 3D modeling software and product lifecycle management tools
• Provide training and mentorship to junior designers on CAD techniques, graphic illustration, color theory, and artistic concept development
• Coordinate cross-functional communication between design teams, manufacturing partners, and retail stakeholders to ensure project alignment from concept to production

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a jewelry CAD team or equivalent leadership role within a jewelry or luxury accessories environment
• Extensive proficiency in CAD software specific to jewelry design (such as RhinoGold, MatrixGold) as well as graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
