Job summary

Schneider is hiring for a Dollar General dedicated truck driving role that travels nationwide to haul retail freight. Expect 3 loads per week with 4 stops per load and 100% hand unloading using rolltainers and liftgate trailers.

Home time is scheduled, with paid orientation and travel between destinations. Compensation includes mileage and load pay, hourly pay on duty, weekly pay and bonuses, plus a $5,000 or $1,000 sign-on bonus depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be willing to fly for flights to and from destinations.
• REAL ID driver’s license or valid passport is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various locations across the country to haul freight.
• 100% hand unload freight using rolltainers and related equipment.
• Haul retail merchandise on liftgate trailers; perform slow-speed maneuvers and backs.
• Drive within the Midwest; manage 3 loads per week with 4 stop-offs per load.
