The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a production setting. Leadership experience is a plus and ongoing training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Halm envelope presses.
• Strong understanding of printing processes, ink systems, and press mechanics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 2-color and 4-color Halm high-speed envelope presses.
• Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout production runs.
• Read and interpret job tickets and customer specifications accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press-related issues.
• Maintain production schedules while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with training or supervising press assistants/operators when needed.
