Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a detail-oriented heat press operator for our Soto Warehouse production team. You will operate commercial heat press equipment to produce premium jerseys while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and production standards. Reports to the Retail Warehouse manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating Stahls', Hotronix commercial heat press equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of heat transfers applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial heat press equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply heat transfers and sport stitched names, numbers and sponsorship patches to basketball and hockey jerseys.
• Read and follow production work orders to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Set proper temperatures, pressure and dwell times based on garment and transfer requirements.
• Inspect garments prior to production for correct size, color and style.
• Verify placement and alignment before pressing.
• Perform quality inspections throughout production to ensure finished products meet company standards.
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting daily output goals and deadlines.
• Keep workstations clean, organized and safe.
• Perform routine maintenance of heat press equipment.
• Assist with inventory counts of garments, transfers, and production supplies.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality control standards.
