Job summary

The GARRETT GROUP is seeking an experienced Intelligence Planner to support USSTRATCOM missions with a focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO). The role requires a strong background in intelligence planning and EMOE analysis.

Ideal candidates will have ten years of experience, SIGINT knowledge, and familiarity with Combatant Command or service-level headquarters. A Weapons School background is desirable, and the work emphasizes collaboration across joint and interagency partners.

Qualifications

  • At least ten (10) years of experience as an intelligence planner.
  • Experience at a Combatant Command and/or Service-level headquarters preferred.
  • SIGINT unit experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electromagnetic spectrum operations.

Responsibilities

  • Characterize the Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE): Analyze and describe the EMOE as it relates to USSTRATCOM missions and equities, per Government direction.
  • Develop and Maintain EMOE Products: Support the creation, refinement, and maintenance of EMOE-related intelligence products. Provide operational insights and advisement to the JEMSO Cell (JEMSOC) Director regarding opportunities and vulnerabilities within the EMS.
  • Threat Estimate Integration: Advise and assist in de-conflicting, integrating, and aligning USSTRATCOM EMOE threat estimates with geographic Combatant Command (CCMD) EMOE threat estimates.
  • EMSO Threat Assessments: Support Government-requested assessments and estimates relevant to electromagnetic spectrum operations.
  • Adversary Capability Analysis: Evaluate adversary EMS-related systems to identify capabilities, shortfalls, interdependencies, and vulnerabilities, as requested by the Government.
  • Order of Battle Support: Assist in coordinating the production of relevant order of battle information in support of EMOE and EMS-related analysis.
  • Intelligence Planning for JEMSOC: Provide intelligence planning support to JEMSOC activities as directed by the Government.

Position Overview

The Garrett Group is seeking an experienced Intelligence Planner to support United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) missions with a specialized focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO). The ideal candidate will bring extensive intelligence planning experience, strong Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) background, and a deep understanding of Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE) analysis.

Required Experience
  • At least ten (10) years of experience as an intelligence planner.
  • Experience at a Combatant Command and/or Service-level headquarters is strongly preferred.
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) unit experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electromagnetic spectrum operations.
  • Graduation from a Weapons School (e.g., Air Force Weapons School Intelligence Sensor and Weapons Instructor Course, Intelligence Weapons Instructor Course) or comparable experience is desired.
Key Duties
