JeffTemps, Jefferson's in-house temporary service, is seeking qualified MRI Technologists for various temporary positions. Under the supervision of a radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to produce detailed tissue images for diagnosis. Responsibilities include preparing information for physicians, delivering patient care and education before, during, and after procedures.

Essential Functions

• Interact professionally with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson's values.
• Evaluate the technical quality of images, including density, contrast, and distortion.
• Maintain patient and equipment positioning during contrast media flow to ensure safety and exam success.
• Instruct patients on body positioning and explain procedures to ensure effective communication.
• Determine equipment needs based on physician diagnoses and prepare scout films.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and testing of MRI equipment, reporting malfunctions.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines throughout procedures.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors, including quality assurance tasks.
