Job summary

JDH Contracting is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver / Laborer to transport oversized loads, including a vertical drill unit, to project sites across the continental United States. You will ensure load securement, safety compliance, and DOT requirements while supporting field operations when not driving.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and a willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to pass DOT physical.
• 3+ years of Class A driving experience (preferred).
• Experience with heavy haul and oversize loads.
• Knowledge of load securement and weight limits.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight.

Responsibilities

• Transport oversized/OD loads to job sites nationwide.
• Ensure load securement and safety compliance.
• Assist drill crews with field work when not driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety protocols.
