Job summary

Viking Pump, Inc. in Cedar Falls, IA, is seeking a JD Edwards ERP Specialist to implement and enhance JDE applications within manufacturing operations.

You will translate business processes into JDE flows, provide end-user training, and collaborate across IT, manufacturing, accounting, and sales to maximize system efficiency and data integrity. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or 5–7 years JD Edwards experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred familiarity with BIPublisher, Orchestrator, integration, and multi-branch manufacturing experience.

This individual will play a key role in the implementation and continual enhancement of our JD Edwards ERP system, working closely with manufacturing, accounting, and sales teams to maximize user efficiency and production through your skills in JD Edwards platform and tools.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing JDE functional support to assist the business and manufacturing operations.

Education And/Or Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems or related field or 5-7 years’ experience with JD Edwards in the Manufacturing Sector
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred skills include familiarity with BIPublisher, scanning tools & integration, Orchestrator, Sales & Procurement, logistics experience, and multi-branch experience
• Strong business knowledge of the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne package with specific focus on Manufacturing operations.

• Must be able to travel between sites as required.
• Perform general office functions.
• Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.
• General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
