Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced JDE Applications Developer to design, develop, customize, and deploy enterprise JD Edwards solutions.

This role focuses on maintenance and development across Financials, PM, Procurement, HR/Payroll, CAM, and related modules while leveraging Web Services for integration. You will collaborate with business users, IT analysts, and offshore teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions, and will test thoroughly using formal plans and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development/maintenance including Forms Design Aid, Table Design Aid, and BSFN tooling.
• Experience with JDE E1 9.x, 9.2 preferred, and knowledge of Financials, PM, Procurement, HR/Payroll, CAM modules.
• Experience creating/consuming Web Services and integrating Oracle Cloud with JDE.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to collaborate with offshore and onshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and document requirements with business users to support process efficiency and growth.
• Develop/modify JD Edwards EnterpriseOne apps including Financials, PM, Procurement, HR/Payroll, CAM.
• Create test plans and review documentation using established workflows.
• Design interfaces between Oracle Supplier Cloud and JDE using Web Services.
• Create and execute SQL queries for the Oracle DB; troubleshoot system irregularities.

Salary Range: $71,250 to $133,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

Under general direction, the Sr. Software Developer will design, develop, customize, integrate, test, and deploy enterprise solutions and applications.

• Work with business users to define and document requirements to support process efficiency and business growth

• Work with IT Business Analysts and IT project manager to verify solution(s) and drive their implementation.
• Work on JD Edwards Enterprise One Application Maintenance and/or Development which includes application development/modification using Forms Design Aid, Table Design Aid, Table Conversions, writing & debugging C & Named Event Rule, Retrofitting BSFN, OMW and other Enterprise One Development tool sets. Most of the development work would revolve around the following modules: Financials, Project Management, Procurement, HR/Payroll, CAM.
• Create thorough test plan, and review documents using established flow.
• Design & develop interfaces between Oracle Supplier Cloud & JDE using Web Services.
• Create & execute SQL queries for the Oracle DB
• Customize & implement the "Manufacturing" module within JDE.
• Problem solve system irregularities/troubleshoot problems

ABOUT YOU

• Experience creating reports using BI Publisher is required.
• Experience working with AIS Orchestrator is a big plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with offshore teams, business users, technical infrastructure teams and 3rd party product vendor teams.
• Experience with JDE E1 9.x, tools release 9.2.0. Experience with JDE E1 9.2 preferred.
• Knowledge of Web Services.
• Experience with databases and scripting.
• Familiarity with iOS programming
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
