Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo seeks an Associate JCRC Director, Education & Civic Engagement, to advance local community-relations priorities with a focus on K–12 antisemitism prevention and education partnerships.

The role develops educational resources, builds relationships across schools, businesses, and civic groups, and strengthens Jewish inclusion while addressing emerging issues affecting Jewish students and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in education, community relations, nonprofit work, Jewish communal service or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with K–12 education, businesses, civic organizations, or nonprofit/community organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of antisemitism, Jewish identity, Holocaust education, or bias response preferred.
• Ability to communicate about sensitive issues with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with K–12 educators, administrators, superintendents, school districts, and educational organizations in Northwest Ohio.
• Develop and deliver trainings, presentations, and educational resources on antisemitism and Jewish inclusion.
• Support school leaders in addressing antisemitic incidents, Holocaust distortion, and bias concerns.
• Expand the Federation’s capacity through partnerships and initiatives (e.g., Student to Student, Project Halo).
• Represent the Federation at community meetings and events as assigned by the JCRC Director.
