Job summary

Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte seeks a full-time JCRC Associate Director to lead day-to-day civic, government, and interfaith work in Greater Charlotte. The role serves as a primary contact with local officials, CMS, interfaith partners, and community organizations, while representing the Federation independently as experience grows.

The Associate Director supports statewide priorities by collaborating with the NC Statewide JCRC Director and expanding Charlotte program models to other NC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of experience in community relations, government affairs, advocacy, civic engagement, or nonprofit relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Lead Greater Charlotte community relations and stakeholder engagement efforts with CMS, elected officials, interfaith and civic partners.
• Represent the Federation at meetings, brief the NC Statewide JCRC Director as needed.
• Manage education programming and partnerships with organizations like the Stan Greenspon Holocaust Center and Facing History and Ourselves.
• Coordinate advocacy and public affairs activities at the state level and support statewide initiatives.
