British American Household Staffing seeks an experienced Nanny/Family Assistant in Miami to provide developmental care for an infant. The role is live-out, Monday–Friday, about 40 hours, with flexible hours and occasional overnights, including a 6-week live-in spring travel stretch with private accommodations.

Norland training or comparable credentials are preferred; relocation is possible for top candidates.

Formación

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field preferred.

• Norland trained or comparable training strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; driver and swimming comfort are beneficial.

• Assist light family tasks including pool vendor coordination and errands.
• Travel with family as needed, including spring live-in placement.

Overview

A private family in Miami is seeking an experienced Nanny/Family Assistant for their infant son. This is a hands on developmental role focused on active engagement, not simply supervisory care. Norland training or comparable caliber is preferred. This is a live-out position, Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with flexible daily hours and occasional overnights, which may extend up to a week at a time. A required 6 week live-in travel stretch each spring is part of the role, where private accommodations will be provided.

The family is open to relocation for a Norland trained nanny or the right candidate with similar qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged, developmentally enriching care across motor, cognitive, language, and social-emotional milestones
• Incorporate reading, music, sensory play, art, and outdoor exploration into daily routines
• Work collaboratively alongside parents, respecting their role as primary decision makers
• Cook for the baby, manage baby laundry, bottles, and pump parts
• Maintain nursery and playroom organization
• Support light family assistant tasks, including pool vendor coordination and errands
• Travel with the family as needed, including the required spring live-in placement

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred; significant hands on experience considered in lieu of formal education
• Strong understanding of infant and toddler development
• Norland trained or comparable training strongly preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
• Comfortable swimmer and driver

Requirements

• Full legal eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid passport or willingness to obtain one
• Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience
• Strong verifiable references
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• English proficiency, both spoken and written, required

Salary and Benefits

• $45 to $55 per hour
