Solerity is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ClassifyIT team to design, develop, test, and document software for classification tools supporting M365 web apps. The role emphasizes cooperation within an existing team and lifecycle input from inception to deployment.

The ideal candidate brings JS/TS expertise, cloud and container experience, and a customer-focused, collaborative mindset to deliver robust software in a federal context.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js/npm and AWS.
• Hands-on Docker experience and Docker image creation.
• Git, GitLab CI, and GitLab pipelines experience.
• Familiar with Jest and Cypress.
• Experience with Jira and GitLab.
• Experience developing functional and unit tests.
• Experience performing code reviews.
• Ability to work directly with customers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Adherence to coding standards and team policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities for classification tools.
• Handle full life cycle design, development, testing, and documentation of policy-driven software.
• Extend and customize tools for classification string validation and access control.
• Collaborate with customers and teams throughout the software lifecycle.
