Job Description

Lead Experience

• 5+ years of developing software with object-oriented languages like Java/JEE.
• Experience in the following AWS services – EMR, S3, Data Pipeline, API Talent, Solr and Kibana
• Extensive knowledge about APIs. RESTful services and integrate with other data providers, and know when to use JSON or XML.
• Experience in designing applications on AWS. Experience with cloud based services like caching, databases, search is a plus.
• Experience in software defined infrastructure and Cloud management platforms is desirable.
• A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks).
• Hands on experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks.
• Experience with different databases, including working knowledge of SQL, relational data stores & NoSQL databases.
• Hands on experience on Big Data & Analytics using AWS

Technology & Engineering Expertise

• Deep expertise in at least one application server (JBoss | Weblogic server | WebSphere server)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/JEE ; Spring, EJB, JMS & ORM or Microsoft Stack
• Strong experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle | MySQL| SQL Server)
• Proficient in Identity Federation and Software defined infrastructure
• Proficient in OOAD using UML & in application of design patterns
