Qualifications

• Experience setting up, deploying, and troubleshooting Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Accumulo and Zookeeper.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues such as HDFS node outages and Accumulo processes.
• Familiar with Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with developing and running Ansible playbooks.
• Java is the primary development language.
• Experience writing Map/Reduce applications.
• Experience writing Accumulo iterators and using scanners and ingest.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per requirements.
• Review and test software components, document results, and resolve issues.
• Provide input on system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and reuse.
