Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking a Java Software Developer to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This onsite, contract-to-hire role requires 5-7 years of full-stack Java experience and proficiency with React, Angular, and related technologies.

You will design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend modules, collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions, and contribute to CI/CD deployments and production troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of full-stack Java development experience.
• Proficiency with React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring/Spring-MVC, myBatis, RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and frameworks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend software modules.
• Design database schemas and write advanced SQL queries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write automated tests and utilize CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior and offshore engineers; review code and share best practices.
• Contribute to project planning, design, and code reviews.
• Support technical feasibility assessments and implementation strategies.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle activities.

Salary

$46-63/hour (depending on experience)
