Marlabs Inc. is seeking a versatile Java backend engineer in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. You will contribute to multi-discipline development across Java, Spring Boot, HTML/DHTML, and Oracle databases, with GenAI exposure as a plus.

You will design and maintain Java-based back-end apps, services, and APIs, collaborating with frontend teams and product managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Strong testing and coding discipline are expected.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in web based system development including Java experience in intranet systems.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSON, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Experience with Oracle database server, SQL, PL/SQL procedures
• At least 2 years' experience GenAI engineer
• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field - preferred.
• 2 years of experience Design, develop, and maintain Java-based back-end applications, services, and APIs.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services; Use Spring and modules like Spring Boot/Batch; Maven; Git.
• Perform unit/integration testing and debugging; stay updated on emerging backend tech.

The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including J2EE web application development, Java client/server development, and Database Development.

Requirements:

3+ years in web based related system development including Java experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems.

Experience with Java, Spring boot, HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSon, Java Script, AJAX.

Experience with Oracle database server, SQL, PL/SQL procedures

At least 2 years' experience GenAI engineer

Experience in data analytic (ex: Alteryx) & visualization tool (ex: Tableau, Power BI) - preferred

BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field - preferred.

• 2 years of experience Design, develop, and maintain Java-based back-end applications, services, and APIs.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• 6 Months of experience in GenAI.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance using Oracle SQL.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services to enable seamless integration with external systems.
• Utilize Spring framework and its various modules (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Batch) for building enterprise-level applications.
• Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.
• Work with version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of back-end components.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in back-end development.
