Mindex is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Software Development division in Rochester, NY. You will design, build, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, React, Python, MongoDB, and Kafka, applying AI-assisted practices throughout the lifecycle.

You will work closely with customers and cross-functional team members to understand business needs and deliver reliable software solutions.

Formación

• AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience using Java, Spring Framework, React, Python, MongoDB, and Kafka.
• Experience developing enterprise applications in an Agile environment.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience with SOAP and/or REST web services.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and all aspects of the SDLC.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong initiative and follow-through.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ask questions when needed, and give and receive constructive feedback.

Mindex is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Software Development division. You'll design, build, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, and modern development tools, applying AI-assisted engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle. You'll work closely with customers and cross-functional team members to understand business needs and deliver reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with others, and growing their technical skills.

We welcome candidates from a variety of locations; however, all candidates should be open to occasional in-person participation for business meetings, team events, or collaboration opportunities. Candidates located within approximately 35 miles of Rochester, NY may be asked to work from the office more frequently based on business or team needs.

Compensation

$70,000 - $120,000
