Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain distributed, scalable server powering iCloud Calendar.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 + Years of Development experience in Java
• Consistent track record of shipping high-quality, consumer-facing apps or backend services.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, privacy/security, and API design is a plus.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and a bias for collaborative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with RAG system and Vector DBs.
• Interest in AI/ML and agentic user experience is highly desirable.
• Passion for user-centered product development and relentless attention to detail.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
