Job summary

Infosys Limited, part of the DX unit, is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute across the full software lifecycle from requirements through implementation. You will design, code, review, and test features, while collaborating with US-India teams to deliver scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, API design, cloud development, and CI/CD practices, with strong opportunities to mentor others and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• - Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems web development across Java/JEE, Webservices (SOAP/REST).
• - Hands-on development skills in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices; experience with AWS, Kafka, MongoDB.
• - Experience with designing and implementing APIs and data persistence with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify codebase and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich knowledge base.
