Job summary

Infosys is seeking a software engineer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle. The role focuses on documenting requirements, guiding design discussions, coding, testing, and maintaining systems with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability.

The candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, participate in production issue resolution, and help create training and documentation to support smooth transitions to new applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; Infosys cannot sponsor now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate features into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
