Job summary

Infosys Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics unit seeks a Technology Consultant 1 in Austin, TX to develop, document, and test software. You will participate in design discussions and help deliver scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot within an Agile framework.

Strong communication and problem-solving are valued, along with willingness to work in a global delivery environment with potential relocation or travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL and database scripting with DDL/DML.
• Experience with JUnit and CI/CD pipelines (ADO).
• Familiarity with Azure AKS and observability concepts.
• Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist interviews/workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions and document software specifications.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects.
• Support integration of new features and monitor live applications.
• Document coding practices and testing methodologies for the team.
