Job summary

Capgemini in the United States (New York) seeks a Senior Java Engineer with 5+ years of software engineering experience to join a fast‑moving team delivering microservices in a Java/Spring Boot stack.

You'll work across API integrations, DevOps tooling, and performance tuning with Kafka, JPA, OpenShift/Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and SonarQube, shaping scalable cloud applications and contributing to Gen AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java/Spring ecosystem.
• Strong hands-on experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience with Kafka, Tomcat, Oracle/MS SQL and SQL performance tuning.
• Platform & DevOps exposure including container platforms and CI/CD tooling.
