Job summary

Gov Services Hub is seeking engineers to develop secure, scalable MCP servers for enterprise AI enablement. You will build and expose APIs and data services for AI agents and copilots, and architect microservices using Java 17+ with Spring Boot and REST endpoints.

Role involves integrating enterprise systems with AI platforms, deploying on OpenShift or Kubernetes, and ensuring security/compliance across all services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of MCP concepts and AI-enabled workflows.
• Hands-on with containerized deployments (Docker) on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Familiar with data integration using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Kafka/MQ.
• Security/compliance mindset for enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to influence AI strategy.
• Leverage MCP Java SDK, Spring AI, Neo4j, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot ecosystems when possible.

Job description

• Develop secure, scalable, and production-ready Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers for enterprise AI enablement.
• Build and expose enterprise business capabilities, APIs, and data services to AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation platforms.
• Architect and implement microservices using Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Integrate enterprise systems with modern AI platforms by developing reusable MCP services.
• Work on API-based integrations for AI or agent-driven solutions, including understanding MCP concepts (servers, clients, tools, prompts, tool discovery/invocation).
• Deploy and support applications on OpenShift or Kubernetes, utilizing containers (Docker), deployments, services, routes/ingress, configMaps, secrets, autoscaling, and health checks.
• Integrate with various enterprise systems such as REST APIs, SOAP services, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and event-driven platforms (Kafka, MQ).
• Ensure application security and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and drive the organization's AI strategy.
• (Desired) Utilize experience with MCP Java SDK, Spring AI, Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j), Azure AI Foundry, Copilot ecosystems, and/or Generative AI frameworks.
• (Desired) Leverage knowledge of financial services domains such as Wealth Management, Banking, Client Onboarding, or AML/KYC.
