Job summary

BinTech Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Lead / Senior Java Developer to design, build and maintain REST API services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat and related data stores. You will contribute to scalable, low-latency architectures for customer-facing web and mobile applications, and participate in an Agile SDLC.

You will collaborate with onsite developers and business analysts, lead a small team, review code, and ensure requirements are clearly defined and delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Experience designing REST API services with Java/Spring.
• Proficient in Java, J2EE and microservices with Spring Batch.
• Experience leading a team and reviewing code in Agile environments.

Lead / Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain REST API services using technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat and data stores to enable user interaction with large volume datasets.
• Build highly scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant, and high-performance architecture solutions for customer facing web and mobile applications.
• Participate in software development life cycle (SDLC) phases including sprint planning, estimating, design, development, testing, and deployment within an Agile development environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, and J2EE Development.
• Proficiency in microservices development using Sprint Batch
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Spring JPA with Hibernate, JSON and XML.
• Strong expertise in SQL (Oracle, Postgres).
• Additional preferred Skills: Docker, Kubernetes.
