Job summary

Qualifications

• High-level design choices and technical standards for large-scale software systems.

• 84 months of experience designing and developing applications with JDK 8+.
• 84 months writing and maintaining code using JPA, Hibernate, and Oracle 10g+ with PL/SQL.
• 84 months leading agile or iterative development teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement Integrated Justice (IJ) Portal standards related to UI, development methodology, and coding/style guides.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with infrastructure teams to resolve issues and implement solutions affecting performance.
• Work with Infrastructure teams on performance test planning, failover planning and deployment testing.
• Provide analysis, design, and code reviews for enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT and IBM Portal/WebSphere development.
• Oversee development activities including data analysis, data access, data structures, testing and implementation.
• Prepare or review technical documentation such as designs and schemas.
• Provide technical guidance to teams of developers.

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Java / JEE Architect in Albany, NY.

This position will design and implement software solutions and assure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfil business needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement Integrated Justice (IJ) Portal standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance.
• Work with the Infrastructure teams to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing.
• Provide the analysis, design, and code reviews for enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT and for the IBM Portal/WebSphere Application development software.
• Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing and implementation.
• Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs, schemas, etc., as appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance to teams of developers.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months of experience designing and developing applications that were implemented with JAVA Development Kit (JDK 8 or higher).
• 84 months of experience writing and maintaining code using Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate, and Oracle 10g or higher databases including Development, DML, DDL, and DCL with PL/SQL.
• 84 months experience leading agile or iterative development teams which involve planning, designing, implementing and integrating complex Java-based systems
• 72 months of experience designing and developing applications in PrimeFaces/JSF, Angular or the React framework.
• 72 months of experience in identifying and resolving application performance issues.
• 72 months of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications in IBM WebSphere Application Servers 6.0 or higher, Tomcat server 9 or higher, or JBoss Application Server 7 or higher.
