Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. in Miami is seeking an experienced backend engineer to contribute to large-scale systems. You will design and develop Java/J2EE applications, implement Spring Boot microservices, and work with reactive programming to build resilient services.

The role requires hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka, NoSQL databases, and AWS cloud services, including API Gateway and serverless patterns. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in medium transformation programs.
• Experience developing middle tier technologies and jBPM driven orchestrations for scalable, reliable open systems in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot and reactive programming.
• Experience utilizing modern API integration frameworks to connect partner APIs and third-party systems.
• Experience with design/microservices patterns; contribute to scalable, performant, resilient systems with open-source tech.
• Experience with REST, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark, and AWS services like DynamoDB, API-Gateway and Serverless stack.
• Experience with transactional persistence, caching and analytical data storage patterns and technologies.
• Experience with synchronous/asynchronous integrations, including real-time event streaming through Kafka for omni session touchpoints.
• Experience with API Gateway (Google Apigee), Product Catalog, Commerce/Pricing Engines and Digital Front-end Web Technologies.
• Experience in a diverse stack including Angular, AWS (CloudFront, Lambda, ECS), Java Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, NodeJs, Cassandra, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka and Spark Jobs.
• Experience with open-source Java Stack (Java, Spring, Postgres, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, JUnit, Tomcat, Linux).
• Experience with full stack development and cloud implementations on AWS, Azure or GCP.
