Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Java J2EE Developer to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE development, Agile delivery, CI/CD, cloud development, and secure, resilient application design and implementation.

You will design, build, test, deploy, and enhance scalable software solutions, applying TDD, and collaborating across analysis, development, testing, and deployment to deliver high-quality software for our Fortune 500 and government

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and J2EE frameworks; hands-on with modern toolsets.
• Experience with Agile practices and delivery within a framework.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud development, resiliency, and security.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages beyond Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java J2EE applications.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
