Job Summary

Help to find a Java Integration Engineer II / Software Engineer who will develop, integrate, modernize, and support enterprise applications and APIs for Health and Annuity administration systems. This engineer will build full‑stack Java applications, modernize legacy systems, develop cloud‑based integrations in AWS, create APIs and microservices, and collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications.
• Design, build, and support APIs and microservices.
• Integrate modern applications with legacy CAPSIL mainframe systems.
• Build cloud‑native solutions using AWS.
• Participate in architecture, technical design, and Agile planning.
• Write unit and automated tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve defects.
• Support modernization initiatives across Health and Annuity platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business partners, and engineering teams.
• Produce production‑ready code, documentation, and deployment support.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Java and Spring Boot full‑stack development experience.
• Experience with MuleSoft integration.
• AWS cloud development experience.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and TypeScript.
• GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD experience.
• Unit testing and test automation experience.
• Agile software development experience.
• Experience integrating legacy systems (CAPSIL preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance or annuity industry experience preferred.
