Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Apps Development / Systems Analysis professional with strong Java/Spring Boot and Angular UI expertise. You will contribute to design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, leadership capabilities, and solid communication. Familiarity with OpenShift, Docker, Kafka, and cloud basics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Apps Development or systems analysis experience.
• Experience in leading and delivering successful projects.
• Expert level knowledge in JAVA/J2EE Spring Boot and Spring framework.
• Strong understanding of Microservices patterns and Spring Boot microservices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of Java-based microservices architecture.
• Lead project activities and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure SDLC activities including unit testing and documentation.

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Must have expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in JAVA/J2EE spring boot, spring framework stack
• Must have experience in java, multithreading, object-oriented design and development.
• Must have Deep understanding of Microservice and Microservices best practices, patterns- Spring boot microservices is highly preferred
• Extensive experience system analysis and in UI programming of software applications
• Must have expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in Angular based UI development
• Good understanding of Kafka is highly desirable
• Python development is highly desirable.
• Must have basic SQL/Oracle Database understanding and NOSql DB knowledge.
• Must have experience in SCMs like GIT; And tools like JIRA
• Good understanding of OpenShift & Docker.
• Good to have knowledge on UI development using angular.
• Good to have basic knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS and S3.
• Good to have knowledge of LLM, Agentic AI and AI enabled development tools like copilot.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required.
• Strong systems analysis, design and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing and other SDLC activities
• Ability to contribute in high- and low-level system design (Sequence diagram, class diagrams)

Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
