Job summary

Capgemini in New York seeks a Java Full Stack Engineer to build features with Angular and Java/Spring Boot, and to develop automated tests with Playwright. You will work in an Agile team, support CI/CD, and help modernize legacy code while delivering high-quality software.

The role requires 3–5 years of development experience, expertise in Java and Spring Boot, and familiarity with API testing and Git/Jenkins. AWS/Azure exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years development experience.
• Java and Spring Boot knowledge.
• Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript experience.
• Exposure to Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Understanding of API testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Basic SQL and database knowledge.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Develop application features using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain automated test cases using Playwright.
• Support API and UI automation efforts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Execute unit, integration, and automation testing.
• Assist with application modernization and refactoring efforts.
• Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
