Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in Austin, TX to contribute to full‑stack development using Java and Angular/React. You’ll design, build, test, and document software while supporting feature integrations and production systems.

The role emphasizes an agile mindset, strong communication, and proactive issue resolution within a global delivery framework. The position requires relocation flexibility, US work authorization, and a willingness to travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Experience in full-stack software engineering with Java and Angular/React.
• Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot and Angular or React.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to improve software performance.
• Support the integration of new software features and transitions within the system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and create documentation for maintenance.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions.
