Job summary

SAIC in Ashburn, VA seeks a Mid-level Java/JEE Developer to join our team for an exciting and challenging career. The position will be 4 days per week on-site in Ashburn, VA during the first year.

Responsibilities include designing REST microservices with Java/Spring, developing Angular front-ends, and writing complex SQL. You will work in an Agile environment with collaboration across larger teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field with 5+ years of technical experience.
• 5+ years of Java/JEE design and software development experience including large-scale enterprise systems.
• Java web application development required with Spring Boot and REST web services.
• Experience with Angular, SQL, JPA/Hibernate and AWS familiarity.

Customer Requirements

• Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation
• Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen
• Location –Required to be on-site in Ashburn, VA 4 days per week for the first year of employment. After their first year, they will have the option to work a hybrid schedule (2 days on-site) depending on the needs of the team

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
