Job summary

BeaconFire in Central New Jersey is seeking a Java Full-stack Developer to join our software team. You will build web applications using Java 8+/Java EE, React.js/Angular, Spring, SQL, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, delivering scalable, secure code.

Qualifications include basic JavaScript experience, OOP concepts, and SQL basics. Preferred: CS Master’s, Spring/Maven/Angular, 0–1 year Java experience, JSP/J2EE knowledge. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript or similar and an understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Basic programming skills using object oriented programming with knowledge of common APIs and data structures.
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and web applications using Java/Java EE and frontend frameworks.
• Write scalable, secure, maintainable code powering clients’ platforms.
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests.
• Collaborate with testers to resolve defects and support continuous improvement.
