Job summary

BCforward is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to join our onsite team in Wilmington, DE and Columbus, OH. The role requires 5-8 years of hands-on software development with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, API development, ReactJS, and AWS.

The candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern full-stack applications in an Agile environment, leveraging cloud-native architectures, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs/Web Services.
• Strong front-end development experience using ReactJS.
• Experience working with AWS Cloud Services.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and AWS.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC.
• Implement Agile, CI/CD, TDD, DevOps, security, and resiliency best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and fellow developers.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
