Job summary

Five Data Products And Solutions is hiring a Java backend engineer in the United States to design and implement scalable microservices using Java 8+, Hibernate, and Spring Boot. The role involves building RESTful APIs, working with PostgreSQL/MySQL, and deploying via Docker/Kubernetes within CI/CD pipelines on major cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).

Frontend integration with React.js and exposure to AI technologies are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java backend development with Java 8+
• Experience with Hibernate and Spring stack (Boot, MVC, Security)
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
• Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and relational databases
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platform familiarity (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Frontend integration using React.js/JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana) is beneficial
• Basic exposure to AI-related tech is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop Java backend services using Java 8+ and Spring ecosystem
• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot/Spring MVC
• Integrate with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes

• Apply knowledge of AI tech as part of project requirements

Role & responsibilities

Java Backend: Java version as Java 8 and above. Along with Hibernate add Spring JPA
J2EE, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Microservices, Rest API

Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL or any other RDBMS preferred|
Devops Git, Gradle/Maven, Docker,CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes ( MANDATORY) , Docker , kafka
Cloud platforms - GCP -Preferred / AWS/Azure
Good to have: Spring AI, Monitoring tools such as Grafana
Front End: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Redux, Flux, Material UI, Radix UI
NOTE : Minimal exp of AI technology is mandatory.
