Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to join our hybrid team delivering full-stack enterprise applications. You will work across Java/J2EE, Spring, and TypeScript with Angular and modern UI/UX, integrating REST/GraphQL services and cloud-native patterns.

You will also drive testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development while collaborating with stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hands-on software development roles.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring and Typescript in full-stack environments.
• Proficient in Angular UI, RxJS, and HTML5.
• Experience with unit/integration tests using JUnit5/TestNG.
• Proficiency in microservices, REST/GraphQL and cloud-native apps.

• Experience with AWS is a plus.

Job Description:

Experience:

• 4+ Years (Developers) and 6+ (senior Developers) years hands on experience in pure technical roles in development of various software applications.

Technology:

• In depth knowledge and application of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, EJB and Typescript
• UI Development experience with Angular, RxJS, Webscokets, HTML5
• Thorough understanding of latest java features, usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes, OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, http sessions, session handling, reactive programming paradigms
• Experience creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular
• Exposure to an industry-standard database (Oracle) on a UNIX platform with awareness of database design and SQL scripting knowledge and performance tuning
• Awareness of application servers /webservers (Weblogic)
• Work experience in testing frameworks like Junit5, TestNG
• Creating unit test scripts for Angular components using standard frameworks
• Work experience on the transactional applications for low latency, high availability uses is a plus

• Modern Application Development:

In-depth knowledge of modern application architecture principles.

Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles using Java

Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for enhancing development workflows.

• Proficiency in Microservices frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot), Event-Driven Services, and Cloud-Native Application Development.
• Multiple years of experience on Service Oriented and Microservices architectures, including REST and GraphQL implementations
• Full Stack Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of robust web applications.
• Back-End Development: Solid experience in developing server-side logic and APIs using languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Database Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with a deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle.
• API Development: Proven capability in designing, developing, and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs leveraging appropriate frameworks and technologies.
• CI/CD and DevOps:

Experience with AWS is considered a significant advantage.
