Job summary

NLB Services is seeking a senior Java full-stack developer in Jersey City, NJ for a hybrid role (3 days onsite). You will build enterprise apps using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with microservices and Kafka integration, and modernize legacy systems for distributed environments.

Required: 7+ years Java, 5+ years Angular, strong SQL Server/DB2, REST APIs, and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with data modeling and complex queries is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on enterprise Java development with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years hands-on Angular experience with high-performance, responsive UI.
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, DB2/ UDB) and data modeling.
• Strong REST API, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-scale Java applications using microservices.
• Design RESTful services and integrate with Kafka messaging.
• Modernize legacy applications for distributed platforms.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 Days a Week)

Job Type: Full Time Permanent Role only

Required Qualifications

Should have 7+ years of strong hands-on enterprise level app development experience with Core Java, Spring boot

Should have 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Angular (High performance, Responsive , Initiative GUI)

Hands On experience Relational Database(Microsoft SQL Server, UDB/DB2)is required. Relational Data Modeling , Complex Queries , Perf Tuning experiences.

Should have strong hands-on experience working on Microservices, Kafka, REST API Development experience

Good understanding of Java full stack application architecture, Restful API, microservices and system integration patterns etc

Experience in modernizing/re-writing legacy application to modernized distributed platforms

Good to have:

Alternatives/Private Market or Banking or Financial/Wealth management domain working experience preferred

Python experience is good to have.

Hands on experience working with containerization technologies Docker, Kubernetes
