Job summary

Coforge Limited in Dallas, Texas seeks a senior software engineer with 5-7 years of experience in fast-paced software development. You will work on web applications using Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, ReactJS, and microservices.

The role involves Docker-based deployment, RESTful services, and cloud-native components, with a focus on high-quality, scalable solutions. You will document designs, collaborate across teams, and perform unit/integration testing while communicating clearly.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of web application development.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot & GraphQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Visual Studio and GIT.
• Experience with ReactJS and Redux.
• Experience with container orchestration with Docker.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive UI design.
• Extensive experience with full-lifecycle development (design, coding, testing, debugging).
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, REST and SQL programming.
• Experience developing or working with web services (REST and Web API preferred).
• Exposure to Cloud Native Programming and components.
• Exposure to Agentic development experience using Claude/Copilot.
• Document and communicate technical designs, standards and processes as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and deployment issues.
• Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter who is willing to work independently and learn.
• A passion for success and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish goals.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.
• Continuously enhance skills by learning and applying relevant technologies and patterns.
