Job summary

Yorkshire Global Solutions Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer in the US to design, develop, and deliver full-stack features from concept to production.

You will build scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot and Python, leveraging AI-powered tools to optimize development. The role requires strong OOP, SOLID principles, cloud-native design (preferably AWS), and hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Angular, React or Stencil.
• Excellent understanding of OOP, design patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS.
• Strong understanding of defensive programming practices and 12-Factor App principles for microservices.
• Deeper knowledge on relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
