Job summary

Droisys is seeking a senior software engineer for a 12-month contract in Richardson, TX. The role requires 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java full-stack development, including Spring Boot, ReactJS, and microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong data management with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and experience integrating LLMs via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) and implementing RAG pipelines. Face-to-face interview.

Core Technical Skills

• 10 years of hands on software development experience with deep expertise in modern Java Full Stack development
• Strong command of Java frameworks and libraries including Spring Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Proven experience building single page web applications using ReactJS Bootstrap and Nodejs
• Handson experience designing developing and deploying cloud based architectures on AWS Azure or equivalent platforms
• Expertise developing Java and Spring Boot applications backed by both relational SQL Server PostgreSQL and NoSQL MongoDB Elasticsearch databases
• Practical experience integrating Large Language Models LLMs into applications via APIs eg OpenAI Anthropic Claude Azure OpenAI AWS Bedrock
• Familiarity with prompt engineering Retrieval Augmented Generation RAG embeddings and vector databases
• Understanding of responsible AI practices including data privacy hallucination mitigation evaluation and guardrails
• Solid handson experience developing production applications data processing scripts automation tooling or backend services in Python
• Working knowledge of modern security frameworks and standards such as OAuth 20 OpenID Connect and JWT
• Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and web services following industry best practices
• Strong SQL development skills including query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with modern testing frameworks Jest Mocha Chai and a commitment to testdriven development
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture principles and datadriven UI development
• Demonstrated ability to write clean efficient and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex technical issues

• Proven ability to lead mentor and grow engineering teams fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Experience driving architectural decisions and setting technical direction across crossfunctional teams

• Ability to collaborate with product managers designers and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with organizational goals
• Experience coaching junior engineers conducting performance reviews and contributing to hiring and talent development
• Strategic thinker who can balance shortterm delivery pressures with longterm technical investments and technical debt management

Good to Have Palantir

• Handson experience with the Palantir foundry including building pipelines ontologies and datadriven applications
• Familiarity with Palantirs development tooling such as PySpark transforms TypeScriptbased Functions Workshop
• Exposure to enterprisescale data integration and operational analytics workflows built on Palantir
• Exposure to AIML frameworks and tooling such as LangChain LlamaIndex Hugging Face or equivalent
• Ability to identify and apply AIdriven solutions to realworld business problems and integrate them into enterprise applications
