Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer for a 6-month contract in Dallas, TX, in a hybrid work setup. You will design, develop, and deliver large-scale technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, React, and modern full-stack tools. You will mentor junior engineers, address technical debt, and ensure scalable, secure delivery across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience and training
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

• Proficiency with Spring and SpringBoot frameworks

• Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability while maintaining a focus on simplicity

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and lead execution of action items to address them
• Design thoughtfully integrated systems that model organizational best practices and enable disparate teams to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability
• Oversee management of technical debt in existing systems and drive opportunities to eliminate it within ongoing implementations
• Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guide teams in implementing mitigating strategies
• Partner with the security organization to incorporate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems
• Evaluate technical risks thoughtfully and guide toward practical prevention strategies
• Reflect on squad delivery practices and recommend improvements to leadership for implementation
• Identify and remove duplication of effort across teams and proactively recognize opportunities for reuse
