Job summary

Temu is seeking a software engineer to develop scalable backend infrastructure supporting data lifecycle management and governance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and strong capabilities in system design. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required. • Engineer automated solutions for real-time system monitoring, risk detection, and operational resilience.

• 2+ years in software engineering with strong CS fundamentals; prior experience with Java is a plus.
• Strong capabilities in system design and distributed systems principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a high sense of ownership.
• Experience with privacy compliance is a plus.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation structure is designed to align with the cost of labor in various geographic markets across the US. The total salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $300,000 annually, based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, competencies and location.
