Job summary

You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Management to propose future application solutions, and prepare design documents and details for large-scale projects to uphold architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years with Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, JSF, UML, OOAD, Web Services (SOAP/SOA)
• Experience with build systems such as Ant or Maven
• Ability to analyze specifications and propose scalable solutions with BA/Management

Job Description

• Analyzes application specifications and technology approach to ensure business requirements are met and are scalable for future product releases.
• Works with Business Analysts and Management to recommend future application solutions
• Produces conceptual design documents and detailed specifications for large-scale and complex projects to reinforce our technical product and architectural standards

4 Year College Degree preferred (preferably in Computer Science or Business)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Minimum of 5 years with the following technologies:

• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, JSF, UML, OOAD, Web Services (SOAP/SOA) and multi-tier software design and development and should be comfortable in a Linux shell
• Experience with build systems such as: Ant or Maven

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Project experience with JPA
• Project experience with Web Services (XML, WSDL, XSD, and JSON)
• Project experience with Ant
• Experience with developing PL/SQL for Oracle DB or Transact-SQL for MS SQL Server is a plus
