Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Java Developer with FCUBS/OBPM expertise in Charlotte, NC to design, develop, customize, and support core banking applications using Java/J2EE and Oracle FCUBS/OBPM.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams on REST/SOAP services, MQ/ESB integrations, and ensure security and compliance across the SDLC in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC.
• Proven experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS).
• Experience with Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM), including workflow customization and system integration.
• Knowledge of core banking modules (CASA, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, Retail Banking).
• Experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services integration.
• MQ or ESB integrations with enterprise apps.
• Unix/Linux environments and Shell scripting familiarity.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methods; knowledge of banking security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance FCUBS/OBPM-based banking applications.
• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE components, interfaces, and services for core banking operations.
• Customize FLEXCUBE/OBPM functionalities using Java, PL/SQL, and Oracle APIs.

• Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Java Developer with expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS) and Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) to develop, customize, and support core banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java/J2EE technologies, Oracle FLEXCUBE modules, OBPM workflows, and banking domain processes while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance applications built on Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS) and Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM).
• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE-based components, interfaces, and services supporting core banking operations.
• Customize FLEXCUBE and OBPM functionalities using Java, PL/SQL, and Oracle APIs.
• Design, develop, and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP web services, message queues (MQ), or ESB platforms.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure applications meet banking security, regulatory, performance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, QA teams, and production support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Contribute to application enhancements, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
