Job summary

A growing software development company in Connecticut is seeking an experienced software developer with at least 5 years of Java experience, strong analytical skills, and teamwork capabilities. Candidates should have experience with HTML5/CSS3 and NodeJS frameworks. This full-time position is open to U.S. citizens and authorized workers only, with no sponsorship available. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in Java Technologies.
• At least 3 years’ experience with basic HTML5/CSS3 and responsive design techniques.
• At least 2 years experience with NodeJS based build frameworks/tools like Grunt/Gulp, SASS, Yeoman, NPM/JSPM.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Knowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis tools and techniques like story boarding, use case analysis, Agile user stories, to understand system requirements and non-functional requirements like performance, security, availability, scalability etc.
• Good Analytical skills and communication skills
• Experience to Insurance domain

Qualifications

Qualifications Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
