Job summary

10 Bits LLC in Irving, TX seeks a Java Developer to join our IT services team. You will work on day-to-day tasks using Java, Spring and REST/SOAP services, collaborating with BI analysts and product owners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities include building web services, applying Hibernate ORM with Oracle DB, writing efficient SQL, and participating in code reviews and unit testing with JUnit. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engg or related.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Work on day-to-day tasks using Java and Spring and report at stand-up meetings.
• Interact with business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and contribute in stand-up updates.
• Develop web services with REST and SOAP architectures.
• Use Hibernate to map Java objects to Oracle DB entities.
• Write efficient SQL queries for Oracle database operations.
• Use Bitbucket for source code management.
• Use Jenkins for application deployment workflows.
• Write unit tests with JUnit and conduct tests to ensure quality.
• Handle incident tickets timely to resolve user issues.
