Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in Irving, TX is hiring a Java Developer with Generative AI expertise to design and maintain scalable enterprise apps. You will integrate GenAI solutions, RAG pipelines, and LLMs, using Java, Spring Boot, and REST/microservices.

Strong knowledge of OO, design patterns, and SOLID is required. The role focuses on building GenAI APIs, AI-powered backends, and integration with LangChain/LlamaIndex stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java experience (Java 8/11/17/21+).
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Solid OO programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering and RAG architecture.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and integrate Generative AI/LLM-powered solutions into enterprise systems.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines with enterprise data sources.
• Work with LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar.
• Develop effective prompt strategies for business use cases.
• Integrate vector databases for semantic search and retrieval.
• Work with AI/ML frameworks and libraries like LangChain and Hugging Face.
• Create AI-powered chatbots, document processing, and content generation features.
• Build secure, scalable GenAI APIs and backend services.
