Job summary

Sketch Brahma Technologies in Bangalore is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices. You will work across the full SDLC, building RESTful and SOAP services, and ensuring performance and security.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, on-site/hybrid work as applicable, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Strong Core Java and J2EE knowledge.
• Solid understanding of OOP, exception handling, memory management and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
• Understanding of Dependency Injection.
• Experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript, JSP and Servlets.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions/Pipelines/CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications using the Java technology stack.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in the complete SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Develop scalable applications with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful/SOAP web services and APIs.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Support deployment and release of new features into production environments.
